60 g Butter
60 g Shortening
100 g Icing sugar, sifted
1 Egg yolk
B : (sifted)
180 g Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Bicarbonate of soda
1/4 teaspoon Salt
C :
1 Egg + 1/8 salt (beaten for glazing)
Beat A till well combine. Mix in the sifted ingredients B to form a soft dough. Shape into small balls. Arrange on greased baking tray at least 3cm - 4cm apart to prevent sticking. Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180oC till lightly brown. Remove, cook before storing into air-tight container.
